Materials
- 2 sheets pressed felt (better in 2 different colors)
- 1 felted ball
- scissors
- hot silicone tool
- 1 base for brooch
The first thing that you need to do is to choose the colors for your brooch. The best is to have the petals, that are made from pressed felt in two colors and the center of the brooch to be in a third one (the felted ball).
Step 1
Cut all together 10 stripes from the pressed felt. They should be 5 of each color. The best is the stripes to be 1 cm wide and about 10 cm long (for the first - outside color) and 1 cm wide and 8 cm long for the second color.
Step 2
Make 5 petals.
To make the petals you need to put 2 stripes (one from each color one above the other.
Than just roll them as it's shown in the picture. Stick only the end of the outside stripe using the hot silicone tool.
In this manner make all 5 petals of the flower.
Step 3
Make the flower.
To make the flower you need simply to stick the petals to the felted ball using the hot silicone tool.
Step 4
After your flower is ready cut from one of the 2 colors that you've used the shape of your flower. this shape needs to be stuck to back of the brooch in order to make it more stable.
Step 5
The final step is to stick the flower to the base of the brooch.
The Brooch is Ready!
